Cultural Heritage Management Australia (CHMA) specializes in the assessment and management of Indigenous and historic cultural heritage across Australia. We have a highly qualifyed and supportive team working nationally from bases in Tasmania, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland, CHMA has delivered more than 1,400 projects since 1993, including cultural heritage assessments for major infrastructure developments. The company undertakes projects of varying scale, from large multi-disciplinary field programs in remote areas to focused desktop studies, including work in National Parks and World Heritage Areas such as the Tasmanian Wilderness, Willandra Lakes Region, and K’gari (Fraser Island). CHMA works collaboratively with proponents, government agencies, community groups, and Indigenous stakeholders to develop practical and culturally appropriate management strategies.
