Now in their 33rd year, the awards highlight best practice across a diverse range of heritage activity – from conservation and interpretation to tourism and adaptive reuse – while raising community awareness about the last value of heritage places.
A new category introduced in 2024, Conservation or Adaptive Reuse of a Local Heritage Place recognises outstanding work undertaken on places included in a local heritage list, and the lasting benefit these projects provide to local communities.
